Since I am in Canada I did have to pay duty on this so just watch for that. The lion battery charged with the included USB charger in about an hour. The buggy is quite fast stock. First few tries it flipped as you turn but just need to get a feel for how it drives. It is quite bouncy and that is part of why it rolls over easily. I believe you can fill the stock shocks with oil. My only real issue is the steering. It is difficult to get it so that it will drive straight with little to no steering inputs. Adjusting the steering trim even slightly does not help. I got it so that it just needs a touch of steering to keep it straight. I don't think a brushless set up would be warranted as the stock motor is fast enough. If you go too much beyond that I think the car would be uncontrollable. For the price, it is a fun car to drive and looks really cool. I have not done any real bashing such as jumps yet but suspect it will do fine. Overall I am pleased with it and look forward to some fun driving with this buggy. As far as being a crawler I don't think it will perform too well because the stock tires are quite firm for a crawler and the diffs are open so it will roll back or forward on inclines and won't have the slow crawling power you would expect of a crawler. The articulation is OK so you can probably go over small rocks and obstacles but really I would characterize this as a light basher and trail rig than a pure crawler. Great fun for the money!
